On Tuesday September 29, 2015, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Philip Maiyo PhD as the tradition calls, welcomed all the students, faculty and staff to the new academic year. He also took time to introduce the administrators, faculty and staff to the general assembly.
We take this opportunity to praise God for UEAB's successful participation at the Kenya Music Festival that took place from August 10-14, 2015 in Kisumu; whereby UEAB registered sterling results as follows:
The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton graduated seven doctors of philosophy in Education. Five of them graduated in Educational administration, and the other two graduated in curriculum and teaching.
Deputy President Hon. William Ruto has urged graduands to rise up to the challenge and live the values that the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton (UEAB) has given them. He said the society has high expectations of a UEAB graduate for “to whom plenty is given, plenty is expected”.
The University of Eastern Africa, Baraton is a Seventh-day Adventist institution of higher learning. It is located at Baraton, Nandi County approximately 50 kilometers from Eldoret or 35 kilometers from Eldoret International Airport
