Job Description
-
Application software consultancy and support.
-
Call Center/Helpdesk – Providing solutions and responding to questions and requests through telephone calls and email submissions.

Maintaining and distributing the University’s licensed computer programs.
-
Installation, monitoring, and maintenance of campus networks.
-
Other duties as maybe assigned.
Qualification
-
A minimum of a three year diploma in Information Technology with at least two year working experience in computer repair, maintenance and user support (a Degree, or related certification will be an added advantage).

A sound understanding of basic computer operation systems and applications.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues effectively and efficiently.

Strong orientation to the provision of a high level of customer service, including empathy with an ability to communicate with students and staff.

A member of the SDA church in good standin

Job Description.
This position deals with the management of the Universities Websites and related responsibilities. This position reports to the ITS/ICT director.

Administering, designing, managing, and maintaining the main University website according to the ITS policies.

Performing on a regular basis a quality assurance evaluation of all official websites at the University in order to assure that information is accurate, coherent and current in consultation with the web advisory committee.

Enforce guidelines for the production of unit/department pages to the Departmental Page masters in order to facilitate necessary changes and updates.

Report on a regular basis to the Web Advisory Committee on the status of the website, new developments, and points of policy.

Any Additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:

Minimum of a three year Diploma in Information Technology with at least two year working experience in web design (a related certification will be an advantage) or a degree in graphics arts and design.

A good working knowledge of common web design tools like Dreamweaver, Joomla, Drupal, MS-Publisher, MS-FrontPage, etc.

A member of the SDA church in good standing.
